Crash me at top speed
Throw me in the deep
Push me down a steep
Lash me till I bleed
Torment me till I weep
Is it victory that you seek?

But my Lord, He heard my plea
A mighty warrior none can defeat
He rescued me from the pit
Out of the darkness I leap
Into His arms, a love so sweet
In His presence all are meek
